Welcome to Ashley Kate Studio. By purchasing a piece, placing a custom order, booking a styling appointment or using our sourcing services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
We want you to absolutely love your Ashley Kate Studio piece.
For eligible ready-to-wear pieces, we offer change-of-mind returns within 7 days of receiving your order.
To be eligible for a change-of-mind return, the piece must be unworn, unused and returned in its original condition and packaging, with any certificates, valuations or documentation supplied with the piece.
Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order before returning your piece.
Unless the item is faulty or otherwise covered by your rights under Australian Consumer Law, return postage and associated costs are the responsibility of the customer.
CUSTOM & BESPOKE PIECES
Because custom and bespoke pieces are individually designed, sourced or made specifically for you, we do not offer change-of-mind refunds or exchanges on custom pieces once production has commenced.
This includes pieces made to your specifications, customised designs, personalised pieces, specially sourced stones and pieces altered or resized specifically for you.
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including your rights where goods are faulty, not of acceptable quality, not fit for an agreed purpose or do not match their description.
CUSTOM ORDER DEPOSITS
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your custom order and commence the sourcing, design and/or production process.
The remaining balance must be paid before the completed piece is released, collected or shipped.
Once sourcing, design or production has commenced, the deposit is generally non-refundable for change-of-mind cancellations, as costs may already have been incurred specifically for your order. This does not limit any rights or remedies available to you under Australian Consumer Law.
CUSTOM ORDER TIMEFRAMES
Please allow approximately 6 weeks for custom and bespoke pieces to be completed from the date your design, specifications and deposit have been confirmed.
As every piece is individually made, this timeframe is an estimate. Delays may occasionally occur due to stone sourcing, manufacturing, supplier availability, shipping or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We will keep you updated if we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order.
INDEPENDENT VALUATIONS
Every eligible fine jewellery piece purchased through Ashley Kate Studio includes an independent valuation.
An independent valuation provides additional documentation regarding your piece and can be useful for understanding its specifications, replacement value and for arranging appropriate insurance.

STYLING APPOINTMENTS
We understand that plans change.
Styling appointments cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment are eligible for a full refund or may be rescheduled at no additional cost.
For cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment, the appointment fee is non-refundable. At our discretion, the amount may instead be provided as a credit or the appointment may be rescheduled.
If Ashley Kate Studio needs to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you will be offered an alternative appointment or a full refund.
SOURCING
Our sourcing service helps you find jewellery based on your preferences, style and budget.
Availability and pricing of sourced pieces, diamonds, gemstones, watches and other jewellery may change until an order and any required payment or deposit have been confirmed.
Where we source a piece specifically at your request, we will explain any applicable deposit, cancellation and return conditions before the purchase is confirmed.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
We aim to provide accurate descriptions, photographs, dimensions, gemstone information and other details for every piece.
As jewellery may contain natural gemstones, vintage elements or individually manufactured components, slight variations in colour, appearance, dimensions and finish may occur.
Images may also appear differently depending on lighting, photography and screen settings.
AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
Where a product or service does not meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, cancellation or other remedy depending on the circumstances.
